ABOUT

I would like to personally thank you for considering “True Vine Children’s Village” as your choice for Childcare.  I will assure you much happiness and contentment for yourself and your child/children.  The following is a summary of the daycare and of us.

Choosing a daycare provider is a difficult decision for parents.  I think that Childcare is a very good choice because of the special attention that is available to you and your child.  I strongly encourage imagination, playfulness, respect for others and a sense of self-worth that will last a lifetime!  My staff and I pride ourselves on giving the children as much love and encouragement as needed and listening to what they have to say with our undivided attention.  The daily itinerary of this daycare is very structured to provide your child with much comfort and confidence.  Throughout the year your child will participate in many types of activities to develop social skills when moving onto bigger and better places in life.

Here at True Vine Children’s Village we offer an “Open Door Policy” to all parents.    I also encourage phone calls, especially during the first month or so, to see how your child is adjusting to his/her atmosphere.  After your child has adjusted, please try to restrict your telephone calls to a minimum, as it is difficult to keep an eye on the children while on the phone.  We do provide cameras as another form of our open door visitation policy.  These cameras are located in the Executive Director Office and may be viewed at any time providing that the Executive Office is available.

Although the center encourages the “Open Door Policy”, I ask that visitation be minimal during the hours of 11 am and 3 pm.  During these hours lunch is being served and preparation for naptime is being conducted. This is a very busy time of the day.  I also encourage open lines of communication between the parents, staff, and myself.  I ask that discussions, concerns and questions be asked either with a phone call during naptime (11:00am – 3:00pm), or with an appointment to discuss issues during this time.  No discussions, concerns or questions should be attempted to be asked or answered when picking up or dropping off your child as this is an exciting and noisy time for your child, and business discussions will be difficult to address.  Please read this handbook so you will have a clear understanding about our policies and procedures, about what is expected of us as your provider, and your responsibilities as parents.

Thank you,

Evangelist Ronda Williams
